Dr. A.A.M. Nafis graduated from Sir Salimullah Medical College situated at Dhaka which is one of the top three medical colleges of Bangladesh. He completed his MS on otorhinolaryngology & Head neck surgery from the same institution. He is a Fellow of Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons. He is also Fellow of Advanced Head & Neck Surgeons of Bangladesh.
